Pathways team arrives in San Francisco for We Robot conference
Pathways research staff Toby Phillips and Tebello Qhotsokoane are attending the We Robot 2018 conference on April 13-14 at Stanford Law School in California. This event, which is the seventh of its kind, is:
"the annual gathering of academics, policy makers, roboticists, economists, ethicists, entrepreneurs, and lawyers who care about robots and the future of robot law and policy".
The discussions will focus on regulatory responses to both AI and automation. Wider topics such as technology, media, cybersecurity, privacy, drones, autonomous vehicles and the ethical, sociological, political and economic effects of these will also be covered.
